‘Howard Hodgkin: The Artists He Painted’ opens January 2023 at Vardaxoglou
Vardaxoglou is pleased to present ‘Howard Hodgkin: The Artists He Painted’, opening 25 January 2023 at Vardaxoglou, 7 Royalty Mews.
Presented over both gallery floors, the exhibition brings together important works by a number of key British artists who appeared in portraits by Howard Hodgkin, one of Britain’s foremost contemporary painters.
Including work by Peter Blake, Stephen Buckley, Patrick Caulfield, Bernard Cohen, Robyn Denny, David Hockney, Howard Hodgkin, Allen Jones, R.B. Kitaj, Phillip King, Richard Smith, Joe Tilson, Gillian Wise, among others, the exhibition continues Vardaxoglou’s interest in presenting pioneering artists to a new audience.
